PATIENT BACKGROUND:

This patient is a 40-year-old female interested in a tummy tuck.  She has been thinking about it for some time.  She had twins with her first pregnancy and then another singleton pregnancy after that.  With the twin pregnancy especially, her muscles were stretched considerably.  Since then, she has always had a large diastases.  Even though she has worked out and tried to improve her core muscles, this feeling an appearance of a bulge of the lower abdomen has been nearly impossible to significantly improved.  She is hoping to have a figure closer to what she had prior to her pregnancies. She is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 156 pounds.

PROCERDURE(S):

  • Abdominoplasty

OUTCOME:

At 3 month checkup she is very happy with her results. Upon exam she looks fantastic.
