PATIENT BACKGROUND: This is a 65-year-old female interested in facial rejuvenation. What bothered her was the loose skin of her neck, her jowls and the fact that her eyes make her look tired. She wants to have a more refreshed, more youthful appearance, but was very worried about having an “tight” appearance that people associate with overdone facial plastic surgery.She did not come to the office asking for years to be taken off her face, but just wanted to look as good as she felt.
She is a delightful lady, 5 foot 3 inches tall and fit at 65 years young. Examination of her face revealed changes consistent with normal facial aging we all see over time. Examination of the lower portion of the face showed loose skin of the neck, under the chin. She also had minor to moderate jowls with deepening of the laugh lines. With the descent of her cheek fat pads, she had some hollowing of the area between her lower eyelids and her cheeks.

OUTCOME: These pictures, taken 3 months after her surgery show her true age. Vibrant and happy, she now looks just as young as she feels!
