PATIENT BACKGROUND: This accomplished woman consulted Dr. Mariotti after a 115 pound weight loss. Like many patients of extreme weight loss, she was left with loose skin in several areas preventing her from truly appreciating her weight loss journey. She is in her early 40’s, 5 foot 8 inches, and approximately 214 pounds. Dr. Mariotti recommended a brachioplasty, among other operations, to help reduce the amount of loose skin around her arms create a tighter appearance.
